TNT and The World Race

Hey everyone,

Ok…so this has been going through the email pipelines a bit. After some discussion, we have decided to start bringing a great cause to every TNT. We want to give back to both the coffee community and our community that supports us every month.

This month is no exception. We are working to send Kendra Baird on the World Race. She will be doing mission work in 11 countries over a one year period. more info on it can be found here:

So what does this mean. Competitors…50% of the winning pot will be handed off to Kendra; so feel free to throwdown more than the standard $5. For the baristas who have not competed, want to compete, or know someone who can compete…think about the good you will be doing, and having fun at the same time while building a strong community. Spectators…We’ll have a donation jar out and we will gratefully receive any donation you can give.

We’ll be at the coffee garden this month…and this should be a lot fun…So please come out, support a great cause, and throw back a few (lattes or beers) with us.
